Cancer Support in and around Geneva

Post by pennycsf » Wed Feb 25, 2015 5:44 pm

If you are living in the Geneva area, albeit on the French side of the border, then the English Speaking Cancer Association, may be able to give you support. Here is an extract from their website:
esca is a non-profit association of volunteers and professionals that offers emotional support, practical help and information in English to cancer patients, their carers and loved ones living in the Geneva, Vaud and French border areas. We come from all walks of life and from many different countries. While we speak several different languages between us, our shared language is English.

Our mission is to have a positive impact on the lives of those affected by cancer by providing emotional support, practical help and information in English
Our vision is to provide a friendly environment which is supportive, non-judgmental and confidential, and to become well known within the region’s medical community

Although esca is not allied to CSF, it shares the same goals and hopes for the future. If you need support or would like to volunteer, then do contact them.
