humanist speaker in the dordogne

Postby damson » Mon May 19, 2014 9:34 am

Hi,
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 - chemo, operation, radiotherapy then 5 years arimedex.
May 2013 big shock - major liver secondaries -taxol x 18 then tamoxifen but within the month a
huge flare up - back to where I was!
New chemo protocol from February but awful headaches led to the discovery that I now have cerebral and spinal secondaries.
10 sessions of whole brain radiotherapy and cortisone seen to have improved the situation for the moment.
I'd like to ask members if they know of any humanist speakers for funnerals - preferably in the perigueux region.
Thanks for your help

Oh goodness, Damson, what a shock. Your story is a reminder of the insiduousness of this disease and how it strikes (again) without warning. And how courageous of you to be thinking, what I hope will be, "far ahead".

I have contacted our associations in your area to see if they can help you with this.

with warmest wishes
Penny
