.............And now I am standing here in front of all these people at this church
Doing something I never thought would so quickly happen
Having to talk about you in past tense...
But, although you may not be with us in flesh and blood
You are here with us in your spirit
And so, since you asked that we don’t mourn your being gone,
With this poem, I would like to celebrate the remarkable life that you had
This is how I would like to remember you
I bet all of you, who are gathered here, too!
So here are some things that made you “our Linda” – just to name a few:

A poem to Linda from Hagar and friends
Linda's friend, Hagar, decided to dedicate a poem to Linda's life. She asked her friends for memories of Linda and then composed this tribute which she read out at Linda's funeral last week. Here is an extract, you can download the full poem below, a very fitting tribute:

Thanks Penny.
Re: A poem to Linda from Hagar and friends
I found the funeral service very moving, especially the tributes from Hagar and the French lady. It isn't easy to stand in front a packed church at such an emotional time, they did very well, as of course did Andy. Linda would have been proud, let's hope she was looking on!

I am sure she is. We will all miss her very very much.
