Hats and scarves for hair loss

Postby KarenVM87 » Thu Aug 21, 2014 6:35 pm

Cosifit is a company who specialise in hats and scarves, and the family actually live in France. Their website in the UK is http://www.chemoheadscarves.com
Having had a quick look at the website hats and scarves are very reasonably priced and I believe are despatched from France so the postage will not be too expensive. Worth a look!

In this area there is also a "medical aids" workshop over at Poligon Nord who have a good range plus any Pharmacy that does that sort of thing (and most do in the smaller towns) have a really good range -bit late now -but also wonderful swimwear specially made for people who have had breasts removed. You would never know the difference, honestly. Plus you have the advantage that you can "try before you buy" and get expert advise from the trained staff. ;)

I just took a look at the Cosifit website and I think their hats are really nice, it's always great to see that there are so many amazing products out there that patients can take advantage of. I was looking for some resource on hats and wigs and I found some really blogs that dived into wig care and how to choose the right accessories for hair loss. From what I can gather they seem to be really good resources so I am hoping to pass them along to my friend to help her and be supportive. I was thinking of getting her a short wig from a vendor I saw online: http://www.godivassecretwigs.com/short/

I'm not sure how I can surprise her with it, because Ideally I would have to make sure I'm getting the right size instead of just guessing. If that doesn't pan out I will order her a hat from cosifit to see if she likes those :)

What a thoughtful and lovely idea. However I know someone who needed a wig after her hair loss and she was shown wigs in the same colour and style as her hair. She said very firmly that she was going red and completely changing her hair style aswell. As you say you need to get the right size, so perhaps look and choose online together.
