Ayurveda Leukemia treatment - treatment without side effects

Postby Vaidyan » Sun Dec 05, 2010 7:57 am

Probably, Ayurveda is the only remedy that treats leukemia, especially AML, APML, granulocytic sarcoma and lymphoma. Chemotherapy is not required. While modern man developed medicine is capable only to provide remission for patients to survive a term of mostly a short period of time, with medication/chemo/radiation afflicting bad side effects, and diseases relapsing, how is it if the ancient Indian remedy can cure leukemia! Ayurveda leukemia treatment works much faster than all other treatments. Blast count comes down to 0% level and bone marrow starts functioning normal. BMT/SCT is very inferior than Vedic healing when the efficacy of treatment and hash bad negative effects those treatments give to physiology are rationally overviewed. One is giving Punarnava (new life) and the other one is giving miseries and darkness. One is giving complete perfect recovery, the other one only temporary remission. One is good, the other poor.

This healing program is based on the oldest tradition of knowledge in human history, the Vedic tradition of India. Maharishis and masters have handed down the Vedic knowledge from generation to generation for thousands of years.

Reason: Changed post title and first sentence as reference to "cure" is inappropriate

I have never heard of this and am generally fairly sceptical about such claims. However, I have taken the opportunity to look up some information about Ayurveda and it is a well documented form of herbal treatment. Despite that, I would not want anyone to think that this was a magic cure for leukemia or any other type of cancer, everything needs to be read in context.

It is interesting to see other approaches and, like many of the remedies handed down over generations, there may well be something in this.

Speaking as someone who has just finished stem cell therapy, I would like to say I too, view ANY claims to a complete cure for cancer of any type with a great deal of doubt. Yes my treatment was hard, but durable and at the end the cancer results show it has ALMOST disappeared -certainly down far further than when I was diagnosed five years ago with Lymphoma. But although the specialists view it as a really good result, if asked they will agree that you can never confirm a complete success as with many life threatening diseases. They have the "know-how" to reduce cancers to a minimum at present and are still working on a permanent solution.
Whilst this herbal treatment may or may not be successful, I would hesitate to recommend its use, without a LOT of further research into it.
I would say remember what they say about bargins "if it seems too good to be true...it usually is" One must also remember that claims of "complete cures" may impinge on our HON code as I am sure our webmaster will check.

Writing as an admitted sceptic :) I would agree with the previous two posts. Whilst not dismissing the possibility of the usefulness of alternative therapies (of any description), I would caution very strongly against dismissing 'traditional' medicine as treatment. Rather, I believe that 'alternative' treatment should be viewed as 'complementary', and of possible (psychological?) help at least in conjunction with more conventional treatments.

In any case, it is very important that the consulting oncologist should always be asked before embarking on any use of treatments which might conflict with the course prescribed.

Finally, I would ask all contributors to this forum to remember that CSF does not 'recommend' any course of treatment, of whatever type, and therefore to phrase their contributions in such a way that a casual reader can gain that impression.

Having recently been involved in a discussion about alternative therapies, I took the opportunity to have a look again at ayurvedic treatment.

An unbiased site upon which I am happy to rely for up to date information is Cancer Research UK. Here is their comprehensive link to the benefits, possible disadvantages and various continuing clinical studies into ayurvedic medicine:

It makes interesting reading! :)
