Children, teenagers and cancer information

Postby pennycsf » Thu Jul 16, 2015 7:43 pm

It is often difficult to know how to approach a child or teenager to discuss cancer in a close relative. How much do you say? The booklets below could be useful to help you talk to a child or young person about cancer.

In addition this website is directed at young people who are living with a parent diagnosed with cancer. It has a forum to share and also has a helpline to professionally trained people for extra help and information.

If anyone has any other useful websites or booklets, please do share them with us.

Many thanks,
Penny
