The CSF National AGM, which was held on Thursday March 17th at Benest, was attended by 25 people, mainly from the (comparatively) local CSF associations. Our President, Linda Shepherd gave an overview of all activities of the Association during 2010 (see the attached report for the full text). The highlights of the year are the successful development and working out of the new structures put in place in 2010, the collaboration experienced throughout the CSF movement, and the translation programmes begun after last years’ report into Language Needs. Evidence of the new partnership between INCa and CSF is to be seen in the permission received to carry out translations from French into English some of the books and pamphlets produced by INCa and La Ligue. Alex Overton, the new webmaster, was introduced and welcomed. He gave a presentation in the afternoon on the proposed changes to the CSF website.
The Treasurer (Andy Shepherd) then gave his report, indicating that after a succesful 2010 the bank balance is healthy enough NOT to require CSF National to raise any funds in 2011! A summary of the accounts can be found in the forum "CSF Financial Matters".
The President, Treasurer and Secretary (Jane Thomas) were all re-elected unopposed and Gary Healey was elected to the new post of Assistant Treasurer.
The seven members of the National Committee were also returned unopposed. These are:
Tony Benstead (Dordogne Sud))
Diana Healey (Vendee)
Ivan Holliday(Deux Sevres)
Hazel Turner (Sud de France)
Margaret York (Dordogne Est-Lot)
Also attached are the statistics from the regional Associations which give an interesting over view of the work of CSF "on the ground".
