This quarter's Touchlines has an interesting article on Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia, as well as a focus on pancreatic cancer and news of the first "artificial larynx". There is a feature on a new retreat centre in the Gers which looks very relaxing, as well as the usual book reviews and round up from the associations.
The magazine also touches on the news that our President and Founder, Linda Shepherd, will be retiring at the AGM on March 20th. This will be a sad day as Linda, ably supported by her husband Andy, has led CSF to the nationally known group of associations that it has become today. Her experience and wisdom has been of enormous benefit to us all. However, it is reassuring that LInda will remain with us to assist her successor.
