My Stem Cell Treatment

Postby goldenoldie » Wed Dec 01, 2010 10:45 am

Hi there, just want to share with the whole wide world that I visited my Specialist yesterday to get the final lowdown on the results of my extensive Stem Cell Treatment, and found out that it has been a complete success!...No signs of rejection from the return of my own white cells and the cancer count in the blood results are negligible! He says to get on and enjoy myself again yippee!
I still have to wait for the decision by the French study I am on, as to whether they are going to give me supplementary treatment to knock on the head anything that rears its ugly head in the future, but the Specialist had told me that this is only low dose chemicals and will not effect me as the chemo did. SO...all the trials and tribulations of the past nine months have been worth it and I can look forwards to a healthy 2011!

Anyone being offered the same sort of treatment and would like to know more about it, please do not hesitate to contact me via CSF and I will help if I can.

Wishing everyone the best of Christmas thats possible for each and every one of you. :D :P

Excellent news, GO! Would you, at some point, be willing to write a short 'explanation' of your treatment for inclusion in 'Touchlines', (no 'personal' details needed, of course) so that others can be informed of what is available?

Best wishes

Andy
