When I had my chemo, I suffered very badly with mouth ulcers. I was advised to drink a bottled water with a high bicarbonate content. For me, St Yorre, a sparkling water from Vichy, was the best. I would recommend anyone with a similar problem to give it a go, it has a very minerally taste which may not be to everyone's liking, but I soon got used to that and still drink St Yorre now.
In addition, it rehydrates the body very quickly and guards against cramps - so it is THE water of the French Rugby team!!
