How to check if information in email is genuine

Post by webmaster » Thu Sep 13, 2012 8:26 am

There are a lot of emails being sent that purport to contain information and/or warnings about cancer risks and cancer cures.

Often these emails contain some genuine information and some false or exaggerated information.

How can you check these emails to see what to believe?

There are a number of web sites on which you can search to see if the contents of such emails have any truth. I have used these web sites over many years and they can be very useful in separating truth from fiction.

These sites are:-

http://www.snopes.com/snopes.asp

and
