Possible tongue/mouth problem

Postby pennycsf » Mon Feb 22, 2016 8:20 am

This is a copy of a post in Welcome
Penny

Have tried many times today to write something, Julian, my husband, soul mate, general pain in the ass, love of my life, is waiting for a diagnosis. The last 2 months have been spent awaiting many tests only to be finally referred to the maybe the correct specialists. The latest specialist is suspecting a tumour on the base of his tongue. We have an appointment with the anaesthetist on the 29th Feb with the actual procedure for a "real" biopsy and an endoscopy under general anaesthetic taking place on the 7th March. We are in complete ignorance as in what to expect !!! Ju will be 50 on the 3rd March and it has to be said enjoyed a cigarette and a beer or two since his 20's, a life style choice I know that will be judged by others. Sorry if this post drags on a little but feel the need to let go.... Ju is already a wee man, he weighs 50kgs /110lbs and 5 feet 7 inches, he's really struggling to eat now and I need advice as how to get some calories into his already tiny frame, it would be much appreciated. We are 87/19/24 border.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, Nikki xxx
